Vintage Italian Onyx Marble Nest Of 2 Side Tables

A decorative pair of vintage Italian nesting side tables with removable onyx marble tops and ornate gilt-finished cabriole legs.

Originally part of a larger nest, these are the two smaller tables from the set and remain highly decorative and perfectly usable as occasional tables, lamp tables, display stands or plant stands.

The onyx marble tops are removable and simply lift away from the bases. They may originally have been secured and could benefit from being fixed in place if desired.

The carved gilt-effect bases feature elegant Rococo styling with scrolling cabriole legs and decorative edging.

CONDITION

Good vintage condition overall.
Marble tops are free from major damage.
Legs remain solid and screw securely into place.
Age-related wear and patina present.
Originally part of a nest of three tables; largest table is not included due to marble being broken (possibly repairable as a clean break, if the buyers wants this in addition, there will be no charge).
Marble tops lift away from the bases and are currently unsecured but will allow safe wrapping for transport and an easy fix.
