Pair of 1960s Mid-Century Faux Brass Wall Plaques – Asian Ox Cart Village Scene
A pair of vintage 1960s wall plaques. Crafted from molded plastic to mimic brass, each piece features an intricately embossed Asian village scene with ox carts, huts, and figures — a perfect example of mid-century decorative style.
Description:
These striking faux brass wall hangings combine a golden metallic finish with a deep black background for dramatic contrast. Lightweight and easy to hang, they were popular decorative imports during the 1960s and remain a distinctive feature in vintage and eclectic interiors today.

Condition:
Due to age, there are some little defects to the plaques. There are some light surface scratches to the gold effect, which is highlighted as an example, but this is in other areas. This is only seen due to the light I am using, but when generally hung up in the home, this cannot be seen. There are a few marks on the black, which could be resolved, I imagine, but have been highlighted in images. Again, these are not really noticeable when in general use.
