A finely detailed etching by listed Belgian-Dutch artist Dirk Baksteen (1886–1971), titled “In de Kempen.” The artwork depicts a serene rural scene with traditional thatched cottages beneath a soft, clouded sky. Baksteen was celebrated for his poetic renderings of the Belgian Kempen landscape, often capturing quiet village life in delicate tones and linework.
