A pair of vintage wooden dining chairs with classic ladder back design and traditional dowel jointed construction.
The seats retain their original horsehair filling and have been recently recovered in a William Morris style fabric, giving them a strong Arts and Crafts feel.
Simple, well-made chairs with a practical shape and honest wear. Suitable for everyday use or as occasional seating. Approximate mid 20th century. Maker unknown.

CONDITION
Good condition. One chair has a repair where the wood has broken and this is an old/historic repair and the chair remains solid and sturdy. Frames show age-related wear including scuffs, marks and wear to edges. One chair has visible wear to the top corner. Structurally solid. Seats recently recovered, original horsehair retained.
