A beautiful late century celtic pottery vase /urn by Celtic Pottery and Newlyn Pottery potter Maggie Fisher. This decorative and very large piece is a unique and very appealing design in a sage green glaze with blue Celtic pattern on a white ceramic base.
The vase or urn is incised on the base with 'MF' and also 'SF' or 'FF'.
Measuring 52cm high by 22cm wide at the widest point.
Very nice condition. There are some rough spots on the base where it meets the floor, but they are minor and are in part how the vase has been produced, where the color does not extend to the very bottom of the vase. Free from any chips or cracks.
