A striking vintage handmade ceramic ikebana vase in the style of a handkerchief vase. This sculptural piece has a narrow base that opens out into a flowing ruffled rim, giving it an organic and artistic form.
The exterior features natural earth tones of green and charcoal grey, while the interior is finished with a deep metallic silver glossy enamel, creating a striking contrast. The base is artist-signed with the incised mark “I/B”.
Perfect for ikebana flower arranging, as a decorative sculptural statement, or for collectors of unique vintage ceramics.

CONDITION:
Very nice vintage condition. There is one small area on the rim where the top glaze layer has come away, revealing a white spot (shown in last image). No other chips, cracks, or defects.
