Large Original Oil Painting English Manor House Country Estate Framed Signed 1980
Original signed oil painting by T. M. Dodds, dated 1980, depicting an impressive possibly English manor house set within landscaped grounds.
The composition captures a substantial historic residence with architectural details including mullioned windows, decorative entrance archway, and crenellated tower elements. Executed in warm earth tones, the painting has a traditional country house aesthetic and decorative appeal.
The work is presented in an ornate gilt-effect frame which complements the subject well.
A handwritten inscription on the reverse appears to reference "Justicetown Manor" (or similar), though this location has not been positively identified and is therefore not guaranteed as the property's name.
I cannot definitively identify the medium and have therefore not described it as either oil or acrylic.
