Antique HAC German Oak Regulator Wall Clock Pendulum Gong Strike For Restoration
Antique HAC (Hamburg American Clock Company) German oak regulator wall clock with pendulum and original movement.
A handsome early 20th-century wall clock housed in a narrow oak case with glazed door, silvered dial and mechanical HAC movement. The clock retains its original pendulum, gong strike mechanism and movement.
The movement appears clean, complete and well cared for, with bright brass plates and gears. The clock has been lightly tested but is not currently running and is therefore being sold as a restoration project.
One winding arbor would not turn during testing and the clock could not be persuaded to run (the arbor near the 3). No further investigation has been carried out to avoid causing damage. The movement may require servicing, adjustment or repair before use.
An attractive restoration project for a clock enthusiast or collector of German timepieces.
