A beautiful and unusual mid-century Italian ceramic/pottery flower vase in a multicolour hand-painted glaze with camping decoration. The vase has painted tents, arrows, and a picnic scene, as well as textured white detailing across some of the coloured panels.
This is a really pretty and quirky flower vase and would be a lovely collector's piece.
On the base, there is '63/15' and then handwritten has '1/12/56', '22/6' and 'Hi Of'. There is no makers sign or stamp.
Measuring 16.5cm high by 12cm wide.
There is one chip to the rim on the underside of the rim. This is highlighted in images, so please check this prior to purchase. Internally there is a stain on the inner base where something metal has been in the vase and left a rust patch. Otherwise the vase is in good condition.
