We're Kelly and the team behind The Vintage Den — a carefully curated collection of vintage, antique, and collectible pieces that deserve a second life and a new home.

Our Story

The Vintage Den was born from a genuine love of objects with history. We believe that a piece with provenance, patina, and character tells a story that no flat-pack furniture ever could. Every item in our collection has been handpicked for its quality, uniqueness, and the life it's lived before it found us.

How We Source

We scour house clearances, estate sales, auctions, and local markets across the North East of England — and beyond — to find pieces that stand out. Our sourcing process is hands-on and personal:

  • Every item is individually selected — no bulk buying, no filler stock
  • We look for quality craftsmanship, interesting provenance, and genuine character
  • Pieces are cleaned, assessed, and honestly described before listing
  • We favour items that would otherwise be discarded, giving them a new chapter or items that are so hidden decades of dust and ‘life’ that their beauty underneath is missed

Buying vintage is one of the most sustainable choices you can make. By choosing pre-loved over new, you're reducing waste, avoiding the carbon cost of manufacturing, and keeping beautiful objects in circulation. We're proud to be part of a more conscious approach to interiors and collecting.
