Gorgeous mid century, 1960’s Tams, England coffee cups, saucers and side plates.
Tams, a well known earthenware company in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, have been in the business since 1903. A family run business right up until the 1960s when the Tams brand was sold off. Not only famous for their kitchenware, but also for their quality toilets too!
These trios of coffee cup, saucer and side plate combine a lovely mustard yellow cup, with a contrasting mustard yellow and cream spotted saucer and side plate. This Tams 1960’s tea or coffee service never looks old!
With an 8cm depth cup, 14cm saucer and 16cm side plate, this pretty trio provides a nice sized cup and a good sized side plate for a sandwich or a slice of cake!
All the trio sets are in beautiful condition. There is a little light crazing to the saucers and plates on looking very closely but it doesn’t take away their beauty or appeal and adds to their vintage charm.
Whether you’re a retro or mid-century lover who wants a trip down memory lane, or simply want a pretty set of solid cups and saucers that will last, Tams are a great set for this. Functional drink ware with the added charm of a vintage feel and a very nice little set with its quirky spotty design.
These Tams trios are solid yet pretty with a timeless design, these cups and saucers are solid enough for every day use without being too delicate.
